The Beaux are a Classic Rock Cover Band based out of DeKalb, Illinois.
The band pays tribute to the best rock music of our lives. Everything from The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Chicago, Journey, The Kinks, The Doors, Creedance Clearwater, REO Speedwagen, Badfinger, Bonnie Raitt, Tommy James, The Doobie Brothers, STYX, Bob Seger, Steppenwolf, Moody Blues, Deep Purple, Tom Petty, Cream, The Romantics, Stealers Wheel, Foreigner, BTO, Collective Soul, Chuck Berry, Steppenwolf, Todd Rungren ZZ Top and many more!
HISTORY
The band originally formed back in 1967 (that’s right!) and played regularly throughout Northern Illinois until 1973. Though they never broke up, life (college, marriage, family, etc.) “interrupted”. After a 38 year “break”, some of the original members of the band re-formed in 2011 for a one night “reunion” performance. It was such a blast they decided to keep it going. Joining original members Frank Kerzich (Bass Guitar) and John “Monk” Montgomery (Lead Vocals and Drums) are John Williams (Lead Guitar), Hans Stucki (Keyboards, Guitar and Vocals), Shelley Myers, and Lindasue Saballus (Vocals, Percussion).
Returning for another great show!!
Twist & Shout is a “soundalike” Beatles Tribute band. We don’t do the phony British accents or “wear hair.” Instead, we use authentic Rickenbacker, Gretsch and Hofner guitars and VOX amps, along with Ludwig drums, and focus on the tight harmonies that made the Beatles music so great. We’ll also tell you lots of insights to the Beatles and their recordings, along with great trivia, during a show. Keyboardist Bob Dobro adds all the many sounds the Beatles came up with in the studio, so we can do the entire Beatles catalog, many of which never were performed on stage.
The group was founded in 2000 and is based in Chicago, where they have performed at area clubs, concert series, and summerfests as well as venues like Navy Pier, White Sox Park, SoxFest.
Trevor Baxter will show us the moves to make on the floor.

THE NEVERLY BROTHERS: “A Rock ‘n’ Roll Tribute – From Elvis to the Beatles!”
June 15, 2019 The Neverly Brothers in the Park is cancelled due to incoming weather.
We are extremely disappointed to miss this show. But safety first!
The Neverly Brothers concerts are a tribute to one of the most exciting chapters in music history: the birth, near death and resurrection of rock n’ roll. Their one-of-a-kind high energy stage performances take you on a musical guided tour of rock history – from 1955 to 1965.
The first half of their concert pays tribute to the music created by the 1950s American Rock n’ Roll pioneers – which by 1960 had become a distant memory but became the inspiration for the next wave of young rock bands from Britain. The second half then pays tribute to the 1964 British Invasion bands that re-recorded the forgotten 1950s American rock music – along with lesser known early 1960s rhythm & blues songs, recorded their own original songs and pulled Rock n’ Roll from the edge of extinction by re-inventing and re-energizing it for a new generation.
You’ll learn rock history and be thoroughly entertained with their chronological song sequence, stories behind the music and vintage wardrobe changes. Their repertoire consists of show-stopping renditions of early hits by Jerry Lee Lewis (Great balls of fire), Chuck Berry (Johnny B. Goode), Eddie Cochran (Summertime blues), Buddy Holly (That’ll be the day), The Beatles (Twist & shout), The Rolling Stones (Satisfaction), The Kinks (You really got me), The Dave Clark Five (Glad all over) and more!
It‘s not “moldy oldies”- it’s “old-school cool!” So hop aboard our virtual tour bus and fasten your seatbelts for an exciting MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR!
